Why is Harley-Davidson so idolised around the world? Why is that when a Harley rolls on the road, everybody will turn their heads for a look? Why is it that when one talks about bike, the very first brand in mind is the Harley-Davidson?

Finding answers to these questions will give us three words : name, quality, and pride.

Name - When you hear the word "Harley-Davidson", the first thought that may jump out from your head is a "one hell of a machine". Hearing the name "Harley-Davidson" would also simply gives you the impression of a great bike company that set a great bequest thru history. The name can be synonymous with toughness, quality, speed, and flexibility. The name itself will set itself on the head of your mind.

Quality- Whether it's a CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations), Dyna, Sportster, Softail, Touring, or VRSC model, it's a Harley-Davidson. And when we are saying Harley-Davidson, we mean superb quality that is established over the years. Each Harley-Davidson motor bike is produced in superiority from the engine parts to the decals and finishing touches. Harley-Davidson motorbikes are created not only to sell but to live for a lifetime as well.

Pride - Harley-Davidson has been manufacturing motor bikes for more than a century|100 years. Top One Way Car Rental Guide!

By Anne Durrell

There are a lot of things to think about when you are considering a one way car rental. A lot of car rental companies prefer you pick up and then drop off the car at the same location as that will make it a lot easier for the car rental company.

Why One Way Car Rental Are Pricey

When you do a one way car rental the car rental company likes to tack on some extreme fees. The reason for this is that they need to pay to get the car back to the original location.

A lot of car rental companies will not even offer one way renting, since you basically end up paying for those associated costs.

In spite of some more money of one way renting, you may still get reasons why you require a one way rental car, and this is why there still a lot of companies that do offer this choice.

Find a Reputable One Way Car Rental

Most of the major car rental companies offer one way car rental. However, even those companies that do offer it may not offer it at every location.

You will need to ask at each company about the availability of their one way rental deals. It is generally a lot easier to get a one-way offer when you are staying within the same city or state instead of traveling between states and longer distance traveling.

Get a Good Price

Trying to get the best price can take time. Since you will already be limited to only certain companies you will not have as much negotiating power.

You should know that many special deals or coupons as well as discounts do not apply to one way car rental either. If you want to get a good deal, you really must shop around.

You may need to speak to several car rental companies multiple times to get the best price possible, since the only thing you can do is try to find a deal on any penalty charges they may have.

You need to speak to several car rental services just to find out what the best deal out there is. You can also get the best deal on a one-way rental only if you find a car rental company at the right and perfect time.

A lot of car rental companies will need to move their cars at certain times of the year, so you could basically be helping them out about this. Check with the rental car company to find out if there might be a condition where you can help them move their cars.

One way rentals are something that you can do, but something that will cost you. It is important that you seek out a company that is willing to work with you and give you a good value for your money. - 21396

Driving School: Are You Being Ripped Off?

By John Robertson

How many times you've heard a friend complain they took five lessons at a driving school and learnt nothing? My neighbor gave up learning to drive after just three sessions. She said her instructor was hooked to the cell phone most of the time and the car they were given from the school was a wreck! You could save dollars and time by choosing a driving school wisely. Check these tips before you enroll.

Driving tests are not all that a horror as they are made out to be. For any learner with average intelligence, 30 hours of theory and 12 hours on the road for about $400 should be a good enough beginner's package. However, natural ability to pick up driving, confidence and free time available varies for every learner. You may like to take an intensive course.

The best way to decide what duration of lessons and course will suit you is to have a detailed discussion with the instructor before you begin. If possible, also discuss with your instructor what each session will focus on and what vehicle the school is going to assign to you for practice.

Even before you pay your fee, request your instructor to discuss what time will be spent in practical training and what will be spent in the classroom. Preparing for the theory test for your driver's license can be as rigorous as driving itself. A theory test includes 50 multiple-choice questions and can last an hour. Unless your driving school has prepared you to clear this test, you will not be able to take the practical test.

Going to a driving school does not mean your learning process remains confined there. Additional reading of manuals on road signs, traffic rules, safety measures, highway codes etc must supplement your classroom time. It is always good to prepare brief booklets yourself or, obtain them from your driving school. Keep these in the car for ready reference throughout your driving life.

As a beginner who is excited about learning how to drive, taking practical lessons at the wheel of a car is always luring. But resist that. Some driving schools also try to grab students by offering them more practical training. In the long-term, having the theory clear in your mind first is more important before you turn that key in the ignition. Tell your driving school that you want to take theory lessons first. Accidents can be averted because of a piece of information at the back of one's mind as much as by alert handling of a vehicle.

All driving schools offer lessons in the basic and intensive category. Basic is naturally for the absolute beginner and the intensive for those who have some previous knowledge or training. Sometimes, amateurs with a keen mind are able to pull off intensive courses too. Often driving schools also teach groups. Deciding how many hours of practical training will suit you can be calculated according to your age. Add up one hour of driving for every 18 months' of your age. You can take a fortnight's course with at least ten hours of practical driving around.

Driving can be a pleasure activity as much as a utility skill for one's life. Not knowing how to drive can really affect your self esteem too. Coming of age almost seems to be synonymous with obtaining a driving license as well. Don't lose the opportunity to learn a valuable skill just because you landed up with the wrong driving school. Think and evaluate before you enrol. As a youngster, even before you begin a full-time job, you can take up driving to earn extra income. Learn properly, stay safe and enjoy driving for a lifetime. - 21396

Six Used Automobile Buying Tips You Must Understand!

By Eric Thor

Take the strain out of purchasing a used car with these six tips. All aspects of buying a used car are covered. Don't just stroll into a used automobile showroom without being armed to the teeth with data; you know what will happen if you do.

ARTICLE: Almost every adult, in this country, is going to buy or sell a used car, or do both, in their lifespan. Learning how to avert all the used car pitfalls can be a very valuable skill set to have. Do your homework then almost every problem, you can imagine when buying a used automobile, can be converted into a positive outcome for you. A lot of common sense will make this journey less frightful and even pleasant.

1) Budget. Stick to a realistic budget you establish. Spend less than your budget - don't be tempted to spend more. Since most car sales are completed in cash, transfer the money into a bank account where you can rapidly convert it to cash. You must do research first and come up with a budget that you must not surpass.

2) Do your homework. Used car data can easily be found from many places on the Web. Free computer usage and web access are available at any public library; they have subscriptions to all kinds of automobile related publications - go ahead and use them. Find out the Blue Book price or use a Car Cloud to quickly find makes, models, and years of used cars that fit into your budget. Arm yourself before you go shopping.

3) Shop Smart. Marching into a used automobile dealership without doing any kind of research or a budget is asking for trouble. "What's it going to take for you to buy today" is what that salesrep is going to ask and its downhill from there. Come equipped with an idea of the models and years your budget allows. Be ready to pay for a CarFax or AutoCheck report for your final car choice if one is not provided.

4) Read the CarFax/AutoCheck for the automobile. You must NOT buy a used automobile without reading one of these reports - you can't just "wing it", there are way too many scams with the odometer, title, and repair history. A thorough car inspection is next after the car passes the CarFax/AutoCheck report - hood to trunk.

5) Inspect the automobile. Whether the automobile sits in the used automobile dealer's lot or in the driveway of a private sale you must perform a 100+ point inspection of the car. This check covers the engine, the undercarriage, the trunk, and the interior. Bring a magnet and flashlight which will be put to good use. The magnet sticks to steel body parts and falls off if the car has had body work. Hard to view inspection places are illuminated with the flashlight. If the car passes your inspection it's time to take a test drive.

6) Test drive the automobile. Listen to how the car starts and idles. Inspect the A/C, radio, power windows and locks, wipers, rear window defogger and all lights. Take the automobile for a test drive down the highway and around the block if the car has passed all your tests. Observe any vibrations, weird noises, and smells.

If you've completed the above six items and the car passes your tests then an auto mechanic is your last step. $100+ is what a competent mechanic will charge to hook up computers and run diagnostic tests. Make an offer to buy the automobile if the mechanic gives the thumbs up. - 21396
