Hide Wiring In A Professional Vehicle Audio Installation

There are a number of reasons for wanting to have the wiring of the stereo be hidden. The wiring concern is the last that comes to the mind of the user. It is obviously essential to make it concealed since it minimises the disturbance to the wires. It gives a very neat interior thus making it look like being done by a professional. Using these tools the operation can be performed in a better and simpler way.

The first step involves hiding the wires coming from the connections from the battery. This can be done by attaching specially equipped flexible cable tubing in the car's engine compartment. By using small clamps and sheet metal screws it can be installed to the car's frame. For fixing it with screws drill holes.

The next step involves the closing of tubing up by the zip ties. It is placed in a position about two to three feet below the flexible cable tubing. To avoid splicing of wires one can the wires should be connected together using the wiring harness. Such wiring harness can be bought from any car stereo shop.

The ideal place for keeping the wires under cover can be car's trim or its carpet or the indoor plastic trim. A putty knife can be used for pulling up the edges and also it can be used for pulling it down. When wires of different causes meet there is possibility of noise interference. To avoid this one can ensure from the car stereo shop personnel on what all wires to be bundled together and what all to be made to run in an opposite direction.

The wires to the speakers at the rear, sub-woofers, amplifiers and the crossovers can be hidden behind the side of the car and panels. Instructions should be followed to remove it with no damage.

The connectors that are at the sub-woofers and the amplifiers may be seen generally. These can be inserted into the carpet or panels. For some cars there are panels that are built to reduce the wiring.
