Commercial Logo Removal Tips And Suggestions.

By Jack Hanley

A logo is defined as a graphical element that together with its uniquely set and arranged typeface form a trademark or commercial brand. Logos are also used to identify organizations and other non-commercial entities. If you have bought used vehicles you will looking at commercial logo removal possibilities.

Perhaps you have purchased at a public auction a boat, trailer, car, or truck that has a commercial logo. You probably do not want to drive around with the old logo on it. So you too need to deal with commercial logo removal.

If you have no experience in logo removal you will want to hire a company to do this. There are several companies that offer this service.

Most companies use the traditional if not old fashioned way of removing logos. They use blow torches, razor blades, and scrapers to remove the logo. This can be a long and tedious process. And because there is the chance harming the vehicle body, time and care have to be exercised.

So if you have bought one or several used trucks for your business and you have to have the logos from the company who owned them removed you are going to lose more money the longer they sit in the shop waiting for their logos to be removed.

As in many aspects of business however there is new technology and methods to save you time and money. Some companies are using a sand blasting tool to remove logos. Now this is not a sand blasting tool you associate with tools used to sand blast houses. Those tools sweep to large an area and might damage the vehicle body.

Instead this is a sand blasting tool that concentrates its stream on the logo itself. It loosens the logo and it can be safely peeled away from the paint surface. This way your vehicle is not subjected to blow torches, razor blades, or scrapers.

This sand blasting method also is much faster than the old fashioned way. Since the logo is treated so that it will safely peel away it comes off much faster. This means your vehicles are on the road doing the work you bought them for rather sitting in the shop having their logos scraped off.

Anything that is quicker is more cost efficient. So even though the sand blast technique might initially cost more than the traditional method of scraping, you will save money because you will be in business sooner.

Are you thinking of selling your commercial vehicles? If you remove the logos before you list them for sale you can use this as a selling point and raise your price and let the seller know they will not have to pay for the logo removal and that they will not have to wait to start making money off their purchase.

So take the time to find a company in your area that is doing commercial logo removal the modern way. You will be happy you did. - 21396
